Welcome Miss F!

This sweet little girl came into the world a little over a month ago.  Her mom and I have been friends now for about 22 years. Where oh where does the time go?  I headed out to her house last week to take some newborn shots of Miss F. She was such a good sport!  We changed outfits, we went inside, we went outside, we changed props and through it all she was a little trooper.
These next two photos should give you a clue as to what team her parents are big fans of!

Disney holds a very special place in this family's heart.  One of their family members made this incredible toy box by hand!  I just had to incorporate it into our shoot.  What little girl wouldn't love a toy box such as this one?!
Welcome to the world, Little Miss F! It was wonderful to meet you. I look forward to watching you grow up (just not too fast, okay?)

Sneak Peek - Sweet Sisters

I had a crazy week last week with 4 photoshoots inside of seven days.  What a fun whirlwind. In all the busyness, I missed posting a Sneak Peek of these 2 adorable little girls. The older one was in my son's kindergarten class and is such a sweetheart. She was a gem to photograph and practically directed half the photoshoot. No camera shyness in this one!
The littler one just loved to stick out her tongue and mimic everything her older sister did.  She was also more than happy to pose for the camera.
Their mom and I get along beautifully and I think I see a new friendship headed my way - a bonus to everything else.  I enjoyed spending time with this family on a beautiful Saturday morning.

This last photo, without a doubt, is my absolute favorite from this entire shoot!
Thanks for letting me photograph these 2 beautiful little girls.

Wedding Sneak Peek

This past Saturday I photographed my first wedding.  It was for the sister of a good friend of mine.  She and her husband-to-be had a small and beautiful backyard wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends.   I don't normally photograph weddings, but this one sounded right up my alley.  That morning, it was rainy, cold and windy.  Not ideal for an outdoor wedding one might say. About an hour prior to the ceremony, the rain dried up, the sun came out and we had a gorgeous day upon our hands.  After the ceremony, everyone went to a lovely Italian restaurant right up the street. A toast was made, lots of excellent food was eaten and in the end, they had a fun cake cutting!

Wishing you the happiest of Happily Ever Afters!

Miss M Sneak Peek

Tonight I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful girl, Miss M.  I first met her older sister in a Chipotle, of all places.  Her older sister started babysitting for us and once she went off to college, Miss M stepped in. My munchkins love both girls!  When Miss M asked me to be the photographer for her Senior photos I was so touched. We headed to a nearby park tonight and had just a fabulous time!  She was such a good sport, willing to do anything I asked of her.  The smile in her eyes stayed there right through the end of the session!

Wishing you the time of your life in your Senior year!
